CheerTwirlTrail began with a single afternoon class in a borrowed church hall. Today, it's a community of hundreds — but the philosophy hasn't shifted an inch.
Our founder, Lainey Carter, was a regional champion baton twirler who later coached collegiate cheer for a decade. When she returned home to Asheville, she wanted to build a space where excellence didn't come at the cost of joy.
That's the trail we walk — disciplined, patient, and full of warmth. Athletes learn to compete because they've first learned to love the craft.
We celebrate the try. Every fall is part of the routine — and every athlete is reminded of it.
No skill is rushed. Progressions are built slowly so confidence and form arrive together.
Whether recreational or competitive, every athlete is part of the same family of effort and care.
We protect the spark that brings kids back each week. Joy is the engine — we keep it well fueled.
Our 4,200 sq ft studio includes a sprung tumble lane, mirrored cheer floor, dedicated twirl bay with high ceilings, and a parent lounge with sightlines to every class. We invested in the floors so your kids could trust the landings.
